I've just had an email from Elephant demanding £767 in back dated costs from 2013 because apparently I did not declare a non fault claim by my named driver.

In 2013 my wife's car was damaged on the road while parked. They left a note and fixed the damage under their insurance. I must admit it didn't occur to me to declare this because it was handled by the third party. Ie my wife didn't make a claim, nor was she involved in an accident.

I suspect they'll just take the money as they have my card details.

2 bits of advice - check your named driver's history very carefully and don't insure with Elephant.
