get rid of all the badges , smoother lines without them . I had the front badge on the car for 8/9 years and always wanted to get rid of it , now its been gone for a year I don't miss it one bit .

Joe was talking about de-badging Neil, leaving the front one on and rear off was his take.
The front ones do fade badly though.

De badge the rear and buy a brand new sparkley one for the bonnet.
Horsing around's a serious business.

Indeed Jasgol, I have a collection of ex-brand-new-sparkly-ones taken from my bonnet. Could be it's time for another to join them. There's a Spa-Francorchamps circuit map on the back.

Rear badge yes, front no Ahem. When you did mine last time, you put the front badge on and left the rear badge off! Yes exactly, de-badge the rear and buy a new one for the bonnet, it's a bugger to have the bonnet de-badges so you can't see the recess, filler has a tendency to sink or crack, and to date the only 100% way is to fill in the recess with fresh metal.

Front ones are easy to replace but not so easy to remove with the bodywork expense. The early Punto front badge is the same part so cheap even though you find the same dealers selling both inflated for the Coupe. I removed the rear one which did look better however I was never happy with the slight amount of lacquer damage from the original one being on for over ten years so I've replaced it with an aftermarket F/I/A/T one with the Italian flag. One thing I would love to be rid of is the rear boot lock. I just think it looks so out of place and unnecessary when you have the internal release.....

I debadged the front and rear of my Coupe years ago and don't regret it at all. I like the way people look at it for a badge to see what it is Although, I do have a FastFiat sticker in the rear window, the Fiat logo on my wheel centre caps and the steering wheel, so it shouldn't be too hard to see what it is I like the debadged look so much that I'm having the bonnet of my Coupe swapped on to the one I'm picking up next week.

The old group //// logo is of an age now where alot of the 'yoof' of today don't know what it is anyway. I've had a few comments about my 'Maserati' even with the badges on!

I like the badges these days. Adds to the flavour I feel. Hard work getting hold of a rear badge that is the same as original. Need to go Punto badge shopping.
Done the painting of the front badge, removal of the rear badge, my coupe these days sports the original look. I like it, old school and all

I guess you all know what an original faded rear badge looks like, which is good as I can't find the pic I know I have somewhere. So, moving on. Replacing the faded rear badge, bought a one from ebay which was black and turned slowly white and delaminated in about six months. After taken off the original badge found that laquer had been sprayed around the badge. No real surprise. Next slide is with no badge. Happy days. This is what I have now as this moment in time. Next slide. I have sprayed my rear quarter pinninfarina badges black. One day, whenever it does get the respary it needs I will remove these.. It is not about disguising the make of car etc etc more about things that in my mind and taste do not need to be there.

In answer to the OP which was the reason to answer, I guess.
Up to you, but yes. Yes to the bonnet badge.
What do I win?

Looking at the op date I guess we chewing could here as no response.
Anyway, I like pina coladas and getting caught in the rain. With an umbrella. Think ahead, just saying.
