I finally came to conclusion I want to respray my Coop maybe this year in August...but I have a problem with paint choice...
I currently have a Moon Grey VIS, which paint is peeling off on bonnet and some other places....
But I have a problem with color choice and originality features...

You see the problem I have is that I don't like the Moon Grey color and want to repray it to something more attractive and appealing.. laugh

Like this:

and my coop currently looks like this

Also the problem is that I have limited funds...And I have to choose whateher I should buy rear DBS bumper and Lip spoiler for my coop....(ofcourse LE kit will be fitted) or instead of bumpers I should rather invest in Gyeon Mohs ceramic polish that my friend recomend (he has a polishing firm)...It makes the laquer much harder and even resistent to small rocks(sand) in the winter,...

But on the other hand, Coops with DBS bumper and lip spoiler look much more agressive and "beefed up" smile

Also do you guys think I should keep the original color, or go for something different....I really don't like the moon grey as I kinda looks too boring for me....

If you have any other reccomendations on color choice let me know...

PRicewise the bumper and execories cost almost the same as the polish...

The bumper looks very good BUT I think is too modern for the Coupes styling.

It would also be cheaper to spray the same colour at which point you could maybe get it polished and get a bumper?

Not usually mad on non OE add-on's but as things go that bumper looks quite nice. I think you'd need the bigger wheels though like the right hand photo to carry it off and if funds are limited...........
Also as Muzzie mentioned a complete colour change would be costlier to pull-off........ Moon Grey looks great IMO!

The respray will be done homemade as my wife's father used to respray cars all the time, his friend has the paint booth so that shouldn't be a problem. It should cost me about 1000€ in materials, the labour will be done by me , my friend and wifes father...

Also with the different paint it will only cost few € more and a lot more work, which I have time, as this is not my only car...

Ofcourse the cheapest way would be to spray it in original color and only fit the LE kit.....I know that I will have to fit spacers, as with ultraleggeras the wheels are way inside...

The main reason im doing color change is that I really like LE version color and Electric blue....

The wheels are accessories really pup out....

Nismo's Coop I think is one of the best laugh

Also the OZ's are already 18" so can't go any bigger laugh
But I do have ASA ar1 which are wider..

Dark side of the Moon
You could always stick to the original colour but add some metal fleck to it to give it a bit of a sparkle looks great on dark coloured cars probably would be really nice on a moony too as long as it's not too overboard
Least you don't have to do as much preparation work, keep it the original colour but with a twist!
Bumper does look cool but perhaps only with big wheels and a bit of balance on the sides or front!
It may look slightly out of place on a standard looking car!

I have much the same situation.
I contemplated a colour change from 108A Met. Red to flat Rosso red.

I have thought long and hard and come to a decision, respray in original colour.

I suggest you to re-spray the "sideskirt" (che part under the doors and the bumper) in black, and make the other with plastidip.

Plastidip will cost about 200 gbp of materiale, and there are lot of beautiful colors

I think that color is called vine red? well if I had vine red, i would stick with that color as it's still metalic and little pearl inside...Don't like the rosso red as my wife Clio is rosso red and it's awful.. all the scratches are seen in bright sun....

@Gimmo

I did think for a while for Plastidip but it's also pricewise to the painting, as the plastidip would cost me 800€ for whole car...
I you can't polish it like normal paint....and I really like polished paint cool

I really like this paint from new CLio ....but I heard it needs like 4 coats of paint crazy , and it's a pain to do it....only professionals can do this paint ...and It's quite expensive...I think it would cost about 2000€ or maybe more to do it.....but It's the best red color I've ever seen, and I think it would completly transform Coop shocked

It's the best "RED" color I've ever seen on a car...

I agree that the Clio red metallic is stunning; I'd love to see that on a coupe.

Yes lovely, but fast becoming much too popular/common (is that a bad thing?) Jags,Tesla, and just about every other new Clio on the road....as white was a year or so ago.

>Sorry for renewing tread...but me and my friend also discused this pearl white from Peugeot....It's a lot more white-er than original FC, and I think it would look great, as Pearl white coupes are very rare....

Also I really like it in this combination with headlights...

personally....

I'd keep the car original -Moon Grey is still sought after even if it is perhaps not holding your attention as it used to

and THEN, buy another car! and go bonkers on that!!

I do believe that Moon Grey is Fiat 671 Grigio Moon Pearl, you could always get it mixed and ask for extra pearls, if that is practicable

Wow Can't believe it's been over a year and still haven't resprayed the car.... rolleyes

Well It will be resprayed in a month or two as I already made arrangement with my buddies respray garage.

Still have the same problem...but with news!

Different color isn't that much expensive to paint than the original one.

The Clio 2015 Flamme Rouge red costs about 3-4times more than normal paint!
Normal paint with laquer costs about 700€ whereas clio Rouge Costs about 2000€! Ouch crazy

You guys have any more suggestions on pearl red color?
