Shame they won't be from Blackpool but good news for Ebbw Vale.

My parents live next to Blackpool and I live next to Ebbw Vale.

The trading estate where the new TVR factory will be based is next to the new super race track. It would have been built by now, but the anti race track lobby have delayed the start using that old chestnut "the endangered newt" delaying tactic. rolleyes

If you have ever had the misfortune to pass through Ebbw Vale, It is a crumbling poverty stricken town where you can still buy a 3 bed house for £50k and desperately needs investment. It is beyond my comprehension of why any lobby group would want to halt the race track. The location of the track is on the top of a hill range created from slag heaps!

Rant over , back on topic

Bring on the New TVR, although I don't like the picture of the new impression. I think car design has moved on a bit since they were last in production.

Don’t worry about that rendering of the new car – it’s from Autocar, and is completely made-up. TVR haven’t made any visuals of their car public yet.

The Blackpool factory was a bit of a tip even when they were in production! I went there in around 1990 on a factory visit. I had a Tasmin and a 280i DHC. The place was a right mess even then!
