What is the ideal specification of a coupe for club members?

What's your ideal wish list? What is your perfect coupe?

Standard, mostly non-standard, a hybrid mix of both?

I'll start .....

Model - 20VT Plus or LE

Interior/Dash - Silver strip, Plus seats and flocked dash (black) throughout the centre. Dash rings

Turbo - Something capable of allowing 300 and a bit bhp without too much sweat. Fast spooling.

Engine mods - Larger diameter downpipe, Strut brace, FMIC (none cutting into bumper), Uprated fuel pump, map, and widget.

Paint colour - Pearl white or Crono, though in truth I like all the colours!

Wheels - Standard 20VT pushed out a bit

Tyres - Pilots

Body modifications - LE kit (full)

Chassis modifications - Rear ARB and welded front subframe

Exhaust - Blue flame with 200 cell cat

Entertainment - Something that allows iPhone connectivity and looks period. I really like 'becker' for this. And slightly upgraded speakers

Lights - 55W 6000K Hid, plus LED bulbs all around

Bling - Let the condition of the paint and engine bay do this. Nothing else.

For ease of copying...

Model
Interior / Dash
Turbo
Engine mods
Paint colour
Wheels
Tyres
Body modifications
Chassis modifications
Exhaust
Entertainment
Lights
Bling

Model ....... 20v VIS smooooooooooth
Interior / Dash - Standard and cloth. Not a fan of leather.
Turbo ... nope
Engine mods. Flea remap. K&N panel.
Paint colour . Wine red
Wheels. Standard VIS wheels (bespoke to that model I think)
Tyres. Toyo, always liked them.
Body modifications. None. Looks good as it is.
Chassis modifications. Would like a strut brace.
Exhaust. Stainless custom, but looking fairly original. Louder than standard, but not too boomy.
Entertainment. Standard or head unit to accept Bluetooth etc.
Lights. Upgraded bulbs Philips 130% .
Bling. None required.

Model Plus or VT6 - not keen on the "trashy" LE's
Interior / Dash I'd like to try cloth, with VT6 Monogrammed on them with piano black glossed consoles
Turbo Hybrid fast spooling
Engine mods Forged, mapped, loud dump valve and air intake
Paint colour - Moon Grey or Electric Blue
Wheels plus in Black chrome (for Moonie) or Silver chrome for Plus
Tyres Conti 5's all day long
Body modifications None
Chassis modifications Whiteline rear ARB, Strut Brace, Nigel's lower Brace OR try welded subframe
Exhaust Loud and proud like my Plus was
Entertainment Must stream Bluetooth, must be loud
Lights Smoked but not too dark
Bling Dial rings

In the coupe.
Model = 20vt plus.

Interior= plus but cream leather red stitching.

Turbo= Fc performance hybrid plus giving about 300 horses

Engine mods= Guy croft prepared head and manifold.3 inch down pipe and straight through exhaust. Updated parts to compliment raised performance.

Handling= 22mm rear arb, front upper strut brace, Slightly lower front and rear spring with Osrav sports shocks. Then use professional out fit to install and calibrate.

Paint= yellow with seals painted also in new condition.

Chassis= completely seam welded floor pan and sub frames.

Wheels= compomotive 17inch.

Not worried about bling but a deeper sun visor would be nice if possible and refurbished centre consul etc.

Engine bay= Patch standard but also underneath and wheel arches and components.

One that's just has a nut n bolt restoration.
Engine, tough one. I like barnacles purist car, one you can work out and use all of its legs without pushing the boundaries of public decency so far, but then a 600 bhp turbo would also be a great car.....

As a weekend car
16v
Cloth
Red or blitz blue
Rear arb, front nigel brace and strut brace
20vt wheels (15's just don't look right imo)
Flea map
Free flowing exhaust (tuned, not a bean tin that farts)
Improved induction to make use of every bit of throttle response.
Fast Road pads.
Not bothered about a stereo as it would sound brilliant!

As a daily / only car.
500hp plus in electric blue or ink.
Same handling mods as 16v.
Ditch the stereo for all the turbo noises.

An LE shouldn't ever be modified.

My dream Coupe is an electric blue Plus with cloth interior, everything totally standard. My son is vegetarian and won't tolerate leather seats!

Model: Limited Edition or a Plus w/ sunroof
Interior / Dash: stock LE interior; seats like the Millenium Edition Coupé (waffled leather) perhaps alcantara dash and others styled with some red stitching, and the airbag seats. White Plus gauges and a turbopressure gauge is cool! Chrome gaugerings and so on, all the bits 'n pieces. Black headlining.
Turbo: Like John's
Engine mods: Like John Wallace' Portofino baby
Paint colour: don't matter, I think an uni-white LE would be damn awesome with the titanium accents.
Wheels: RH ZW3 in 18 inch if that fits, color coded in the LE spec
Tyres: Toyo T1R
Body modifications: LE kit, Zender rearbumperlip, Plus grill in LE color.
Chassis modifications: everything what is need for huge HP's.. perhaps a 4x4 system for extreme launches.
Exhaust: straight piped, with a sort of "Supra" style exhaust tip.
Entertainment: Ground Zero
Lights: 4x red at the back, reverse-/foglight delete, LED everywhere (as well front and back) US-lights with additional lightning
Bling: should be my big ass sunglasses
Other: the money!!
And: I would love to have our Dutch 18.2 size USA licenseplates...

...and then I woke up.

So my 2nd dream Coupé: an fully original 1993 (thought there were a few made in that year) 16v or 16vt with the cloth interior, as stock as stock can be!
