brilliant vid, didnt realise it was with 2 relatively high powered motors, the reason the video wasnt that long is because mr <5 year old VAG just got his ass handed to him by a 20 year old Fiat. *giggles* stupid krauts

Is it me or how 'boring' is it to be in that fast quiet clinical tin box (VW Golf R); or is that the appeal?

They're very boring,a guy took me out in his the same day, it was quick but quiet,refined and very mundane as opposed to my old coupe that's rough,noisy and try's to kill you!

Kerr, diphtheria golf feel like it was doing the indicated speed or did it all feel very underwhelming?
I find in the coupe that you get a good sense of speed, ie when you're giving it some you are very aware of the fact. Some stupidly quick cars I've driven kind of make 90 feel like a Sunday drive at 30....

Is the golf driver in a trance at the start? He's acting a little strange at this point

We all drive around in 20 year old cars that could at the drop of a hat cost more than a divorce from a b list celebrity. And are about as reliable.

But they are more fun i think.... than a Golf.... and maybe the other.
