I watched it at the Odeon Leicester Square (a good old fashioned non-multiple cinema with stalls, a circle and of course a Royal circle wink a few days after Mr. Craig was there himself on stage) and thought it was OK, typical of recent Bond movies, but it did leave a lot of questions unanswered (how/why did he/they know/do that?) but the general level of boredom seems to be the result of every other "adventure" movie "upping" the game to include ever more ridiculous plots and stunts. Case in point is Furious 7 where a bunch of petrolheads have decided to take on the world's criminals rolleyes crazy

I saw it last night with my wife; see warmed to it as it went on and ultimately enjoyed it. I came out feeling flat; seemed to me that it fell between two stools, he played it straight with a lack of cheesy gags and one-liners (good), but then was a bit too deadpan and synthetic stunts couldn't up the energy level. Came out wanting to re-watch my Bourne DVDs, see some more realistic hard core action. Casino Royal was better and more in this direction.

Interesting isn't it? My initial reaction to the film was taken to be entirely positive, yet I actually agree that it is curiously uninvolving, despite the colossal amount of action.

Casino Royale is still overwhelmingly my favourite Craig Bond film.

Well I loved it!
Finally got to see it tonight at the Theatre where it's half the price the robbin Bar Stewards at the Odeon charged.
I was worried that it was going to continue the 'being more PC with each film' trend, but Spectre came back from the brink.
Links to old films, old baddies and the DB5 were good. The starting sequence was amazing.
Q showed his metal, and the Bond girls are curvier than ever.
It's going to be a tough act to follow for whoevers the next Bond.
PS The Sam Smith title tune us soo inappropriate though

I see the tide is slowly but surely turning in my favour.

One day you will all see that I was right!
