Hi guys
My diff on my Bravo 20vt exploded so decided to splash out and buy a 6speed gear box
Assembles everything and now the clutch pedal doesn't seem to dis-engage clutch
The slave cylinder seems to be half out in the clutch up position
Clutch pedal rests half way down and needs to be aided to up position
Before the diff exploded everything was normal
Only after changing the gearbox today did these problems arise
I assume the slave cylinder is the same on the 5 and 6 speed boxes

Any help would be appreciated

Sounds like you haven't got the release bearing seated on the release arm and/or the cover plate.

Thanks to this Forum again ........

clutch bearing wasn't seated properly and wasn't helped by a leaky slave cylinder

thanks again guys

Did you by any chance lift and push the box on via the clutch fork lever?

My friend did that on mine and dropped the "I don't think the release bearing is on". To my response "is that what that metallic sound was as you moved grabbed the box?".

Thanks
