Every time I start the car from cold it spits drops of petrol out the back not a lot but just little sprays. Does anyone else's 20vt do this? Lol

It's a lot more likely to be water/condensation than petrol, and everyone's does it.

If it was fuel you'd have some serious issues!

It smells like petrol but that's just all the time even when it's not spitting. Everything seems to be working fine anyways thanks guys.

Yeh! burnt Petrol has that smell

Is there always a smell of petrol present? If so check fuel line connections, principally under bonnet but also on top of tank or at filler.

If you mean... it smells of petrol even when engine is off - then check for leaks as Simon(Edinburgh) says above. If it was under the bonnet you would most likely smell it in the car when driving.

check the two pipes going to the injector rail, one of the rubber pipes split thanks to the original fiat clips and i could smell fuel all the time.

Thanks for the replies guys. The smell is only when the car is running. As soon as it's shut off no smell. It might just be burnt fuel.

As above, the two hoses on the lhs nearly halfway up the pic could be culprits when the engine's running, check for splits or poor sealing. First remedy is to take off the offending hose (try to save the Fiat clip), chop a little off the end and replace.
