I am lucky enough to get a ticket to go to the Belguim Gp this year and thought i would start looking for some accommodation.

Seems we underestimated this as we may have to go further out than expected... Nearly two hours i reckon.

I ideas or thought on getting some accommodation? Any interesting places nearby.

Have you got grandstand tickets? If not, you'll want to be in the circuit incredibly early then, if it's like when I went quite a few years ago, be prepared for a very long and dull wait. If you're in that early, you may as well camp.

If you have grandstand tickets, you can roll in at 9am in which case the travelling distance isn't a big deal.

I went in 2013, we just had general admission tickets and rocked up late morning. Place was heaving but we managed to find a pretty awesome spot at Pouhon. I was staying in Amsterdam so just drove down there for the day, but some mates of mine stayed at a place in Leuven. Quite a long way out, but the price was right and there were buses to and from the circuit.

Have you tried the Hotel le Midi in Verviers Reuben?

It's the one we usually use for SpaItalia.

Thanks for your help, hopefully the booking gets confirmed and secured a caravan on our spa Italia campsite for 4 nights at 450 euros! Bargain especially how close the campsite is and the prices quoted for local hotels £1800 plus for some!

Be prepaired for the campsite to be considerably more busy though mate.
And remember no fires!
