Some of you picked up the thread of my desire to buy a particular rear window / boot spoiler. As usual I got a great lead with AutoDS who supplied an excellent rear window spoiler. However it went very strangely quiet when I asked how to go about fixing this spoiler. Clearly this is not something to take lightly and with nil reply from the forum then I was left feeling very uneasy with the prospect of using largely hopeful methods of fixing this. However, I came across this product: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BODYKIT-METAL-PANEL-BONDING-ADHESIVE-GLUE-CAR-SPOILER-/280912414229and I have to say it has done a fantastic job of fixing the spoiler. Time will obviously tell but it was very easy to use and it feels extremely taut. So if you need to fix a spoiler I would give this a try .

yes it is - but I could not source the one on the boot from DS - trying to make sense of the Italian site as an alternative was a nightmare although I think I found the one for the boot - it's pretty expensive ......so pondering. anyway will look at the guide and upload a couple of pictures later today. it does look brilliant with it in my view and the bonding glue has worked extremely well

Where's the boot spoiler??
I'm not sure, the coupe has clean lines, adding anything sort of goes against the grain.

read the thread mate - Auto DS didn't have the boot spoiler and it's a lot trickier sourcing it. As for the spoiler well my take on it is that there is very little to differentiate between any of the coupes in standard form. But there is a lot of stuff out there that really don't work on the fiat as well. This spoiler is actually quite subtle (cannot see it front on) but then gives it just that little something extra to stand out from the rest - along with those refurbished twin finned alloys and side skirts I think it looks great - and this sir, you cannot deny!

Tis like food. Your car your choices. Remember when you come on here looking for answers especially so when it comes to add ons the likes of spoilers, some think just that.
Personally, & it's only my take on things, even if you think you have the best designed addons out there, don't expect everyone to agree.
Not having a dig, just a point of view.

Exactly - I never intended to do it to please others on the forum and whilst peer approval is also important you will not please everybody. Some will detract for the sake of it and that's clearly their problem. Trust me chaps in the flesh the car looks real cool and that's it. I'm pretty sure that if it went to vote .......!!

It is a nice looking spoiler, I had one on the LE but had to take it off when it was re sprayed which turned into a nightmare because the rear window shattered

On the subject of spoilers, there was a time for me back in 70's 80's I did in fact dabble with some add ons on certain vehicles I had at the time. In fact I still have a spoiler to fit an xr2 in my shed some where. I "can" appreciate if that's your choice. For me, time has indeed moved on & my concentration is focused on other areas, that's my choice. Again not being judgemental, just that we all have different ideas. I look back at some of my "ideas" & think mmmm, not disasters, but I wouldn't go down that road now.

H_R the bond strength is excellent - it's had strong wind, rain etc and it remains very sound so I would recommend it. (I've actually used it to repair a very delicate ornament which broke into about 12 bits - worked a treat!)
Mariusz - you don't sell the Cada boot spoiler do you?! if you do then send me a link....I might add it although to be honest I quite like it as it is....
