Afternoon all.

New here to this forum and to coupes. I have been looking for a cheap coop for several months now and came across this AT ad.

AutoT Ad

Does anyone have any thoughts? Or know of any for sale for around the £3k mark. Preferably a non turbo version.

Not much you can say really, it could be a bargain, you'd need to inculde the cost of a full service straight off (£200), but then its the unknowns that cost more. Go and have a look if its close by, maybe take someone who knows coops with you

what about this one

Thanks JimO, No you're right there isn't much you can say from that ad. Having done a bit more research it does sound a little too much like a 'bargin'. Unfortunaltly it's a little bit out of the way for me (I don't have a car at the mo....!).

Thanks for the link. A little to pricey. I have a fixed budget. No more than £3K I have a tax bill to pay.

If there were anyone who know's coops available in the next few days in the north/east london area help would be much appreciated.

Look here this is a list of where people live and if they are willing to help you

Just don't rush in to your first car, when they are good cars they are really really good and when they are bad they are really really bad. At £2000 you could easily end up with a garage bill equalling the same putting it right

Agree with Jim...I bought a 2k 20v n/a coop, spent £800+ fairly soon after getting it sorted...not that many real bargains in coupe-land...but she is fun as my brother has just demonstrated through the streets of London

I don't think a P reg N/A is worth 3K. I sold my T reg with 68k miles for £3,500 a few months back. Still looks cheap at £1700 but I bet that's what it books at
