Having read some of the Report and now watching the Select Committee's questioning of the main players in this National disgrace I am utterly and totally appalled by the endemic corruption that is allowed to go on unchecked by the very people who put themselves forward to safeguard and enhance society.
We have no real open and honest accountable society and this I feel is proof of such, 16 years of orchestrated abuse of young vulnerable children, bullying and corrupt Councillor's, Social Worker and Police Officers who have failed to act on their staff's concerns scared to 'bite the bullet' so not to 'hinder' their own careers. The ex Chief Constable appears to be a total liar, using the 'I'm an ignorant fool and/or incompetent' strategy to save his skin.
I do have one glimmer of hope Keith Vaz et al have crucified these individuals with their questioning and this has been televised and un-censored to the British public and the World. Having experienced 20 years in two different public services I have seen the utter disgrace of Senior Management and how they professionally conduct themselves. time for change.
When this was leaked to the press the Rotherham Council attempted to hush the whistleblower!!!
