So, after a real problem with my own insurer, and AA (who Ihad taken the insurance through) not being able to find me a reasonable quote, I gave green light a call. First, the guy on the end of the phone knew the car, and knew enough to aks if mine was a standard, LE or Plus. Second, asked if I was an FCCUK'er. Third, beat every other quote I could find by a large margin. oh, and track days at £50 a go. So, thanks Greenlight. Che

Greenlight werent the cheapest for me with a standard car but they are probably one of the only companys that actually cover mods and the service is very good!!! I too would highly recommend them!

Greenlight didn't do me any favours this year so I've gone for Chris Knott now at 10% less. Again, they know their stuff and also gave me the cheapest quote for the Barchetta last year.
I still believe in shopping around for the best deal each year though. Come renewal time they don't seem bothered whether you stay or go. So I go where I get a better deal.

We treat all customers equally weather a renewal of new business. Although a renewal invloves less administration as we have an existing policy in place and don't have to get proof of NCB etc...
If we are given the opportunity we always try and match any alternative renewal quote but the Chris Knott price must of been to low for us to compete.
Best Regards Neil Greenlight

After having my big turbo and a few other bits done Admiral said they would np longer cover me! Help! No insurance I thought.
Called Greenlight (on forum recommendation) and declared my mods
Skirts and lips Plus wide wheels Big turbo Big intercooler Extra gauges Strut Brace Chip Exhaust Leather seats (cloth std) Different shocks and springs Fancy filter PRV Company graphics Starter button Clear side repeaters Walbro fuel pump
I am 31 and live in a semi-urban area.
£657.75 fully comp with protected NCB and the 29 year old wife is on there as well.
Very happy

The guy said it wouldn't make any difference to the premium, but it was best to detail it on the policy regardless.
