Sort of puts into perspective how insignificant we really are, and that life is far too short for all the squabbling that occurs within it. Have you never seen the 'pale blue dot' video? One of the greatest things on the Internet. Carl Sagan asked NASA to get Voyager to take a photo of Earth after it had completed its mission and gone past the outer planets. It's the most distant photo we have of Earth, taken from around 4 billion miles away. If you've never seen the video you should. Everybody should.
