Sorry to drag up this old thread, but I thought the post-script might amuse.
I had an e-mail from this person first thing this morning telling me that her lap-top had died and she'd lost her CV and asking if I still had a copy, as she's applying for a local job.
She also asked if she could put me down as a reference! She was employed for 10 days, took 2 of them as no-notice holiday, 1 off sick and was late for the other 7, what the hell does she expect me to put in a reference?
