From There To Here, a three-part drama centred on the IRA bombing of Manchester Arndale Centre in 1996:

Good cast - Philip Glenister, Bernard Hill, Liz White and...

Original score by I Am Kloot.

I'm really looking forward to it, which probably means it'll be bobbins.

Keen to hear what others think...

Like a proper spoon I missed the first 10 minutes (did I miss anything...?!), but otherwise I enjoyed it. I liked the score when I remembered to listen out for it, but the drama was good enough to distract me.
I'll watch next week.
Philip Glenister and Bernard Hill are great as battling father and son.

I was a little disappointed with it to be honest. It just felt a little lightweight.

Bernard Hill and Phil Glenister were excellent, but I'm not a huge fan of Annie Cartwright (Liz White).

And pairing her with Gene Hunt again, didn't work for me!

Fair point, bezzer. I think they do hog the scenes a bit.

Never mind Annie Cartwright, Liz White will always be the dinner lady in Teachers for me; dated by Brian the PE teacher, but with whom Simon "works a double shift"...

I too thought is a bit lightweight, maybe a slow burner?

Yeah, not that he's typecast or anything! He was brilliant in Black Mirror last year and I thought that might spell the end of his time as BT uber-nerd. Must be too well paid!

Enjoyed the first episode, thought the second was a bit predictable, and a bit crap if I am honest.

Could see the hospital bed scene coming from about 5 minutes in.

I totally forgot about it - only remembered yesterday!
Will try to catch it this week, but I don't have a decent iplayer workaround yet...
