As many of you know I had a horrendus accident in my coupe 5 years ago, but have finally been drawn back to the world of coupes..

this is the one I'm due to buy.. anyone know this car or have any info?

Noticed that it was TXXX ELP. Similar to the shell Solo have listed.

I'm a little concerned as it says all important blue key and code card..

Nothing about red key?! Is this right.. always thought there was a red key with coupes!

Yep red key. Blue key is just a spare normal one

Has anyone ever needed to use their red key?? I thought there was also some kind of discussion (i think from Joe CC) about there are ways around not having one should the red key 'actually' be needed!

Can't believe that was five years ago

I've never used a red key, ok I didn't have one on the 16vt over a 9-year ownership, and in 4 years with 20vt it's lain in a tray.

Red key thing is a bit of a Myth.
You'd be hard pressed to find anyone on the forum who has actually needed it for the reasons it supposed to be needed for!

I wouldn't let the lack of one sway your decision.

I needed it to code a new blue key when my blue key snapped!

I had a new (aftermarket) blue key coded and cut with my existing blue key.

Never needed a RED key on any of my Fiats, and I've had over 15 of them.

No, blonde moment.. was 2 years ago!!

Its all sorted now. Red key is present also

Sigh of relief.

So on saturday I will be the proud owner of another coupe!

I "thought"- am I'm led to believe this is true on very good advice-

that late- late cars (like mine) didn't have a red key- but had a code-card instead. I think that's the case.

Not that I have the code-card!

Oh! hangon- I've just looked at your picture- it should indeed have the red one at that age-
