Dazvr6 OP My job on the forum Joined: Oct 2013 Posts: 1,290 Staffs	I have just bought a 6 month old Forge recirc valve and it has arrived with what looks like brake cleaner/oil inside? Should they have oil in them?

You should clean it out and use a little bit of clean engine oil when re-assembling, simply to lubricate the piston in the DV body
