Possibly looking to get something a little more practical to swallow growing kids & bikes.

With a budget of around £12K and a target of coupe matching pace what options are out there?
Fuel economy is not so critical as mileage will be very low.

BMW 335i saloon or estate.

I owned one for 18 months and they're great cars. 306bhp standard and 370bhp with just a remap. 0-60 with a remap is under 5 seconds.

Very cheap to tax (£270 if newer than Sept 2007) and insure given the performance and service intervals are ever 2yrs so cheap to maintain.

This one is a bargain at £10k. I'd guess it's over 400bhp with those mods. I don't like the modified front bumper but that could be easily changed back to standard.
