Info alert...I've just started taking a new Statin (Rosuvastatin) and its excellent, no nasty side effects. Its been classed as a Super statin (only recently released in the uk) and I would suggest anyone who has struggled with other perscibed statins to convince their Dr to give it a go. I say convince as its very expensive (roughly £320 a year) and the normally offered Atorvastatin is much much cheaper (£16 a year). That is all
