I'm after a 3" downpipe / Decat / backbox
apart from h&s 3" downpipe, is there any other company who sells them for the coupe? I've had a look but there either custom made or h&s..

Thanks

Thanks mate.

If I had a 3" downpipe, 2.5" Decat and 2.5" backbox, would this be pointless having the 3" downpipe as it will be restricted as soon as it hits the Decat..

Would a 3" downpipe and 3" Decat, with a 2.5" back box be okay?

Or shale I just go the whole way and have 3" from turbo back..
Thanks

Your best just having one custom made if your running a gt series turbo and have a 5 bolt flange right off the turbo.

Gases expands more the hotter they are so the longer away from the turbo the less space it will need. So yes a 3" DP would be beneficial even if the rest is 2,5"

You don't need 3" downpipe on a hybrid, 2.75 is plentiful unless you're going GT-series and much bigger BHP?

Oh okay, I'm on the standard downpipe, is this 2,5 or 2.75?
Thanks

Stock downpipe is 2.5" AFAIK but I could be mistaken. You can go 3" if you want to but it's not an absolute necessity. The gases get slower through the exhaust system anyway so going from 3" back to 2.5" is fine unless, again, you're going for bigger power!

I still would like a 3" downpipe; how much bhp are we looking at from going from 2.25 to 3" on. Hybrid turbo, I will have the map tweaked once installed too.

Thanks

Stock may be 2.25 at first but goes down below 2" further down.

40bhp!! rotate
Shows how restrictive our 16vt exhausts are, seems like supersprint is the minimum on theese?
