Bought this off a chap in West Sussex at the weekend.
It's silver and has a club sticker in the window and tax disc holder too.
He reckons the last 2 owners were members on here.
Any info would be gratefully received.

I used to own it from Feb 2008 until June 2009

I bought it with 70k on the clock and sold it with around 86k showing IIRC

When it was in my ownership it was standard apart from a GTEC chip and boost gauge.

When I first bought it I had all of the belts done, however just after I sold it the subsequent owner had the auxilary belt wind its way into the cambelt, and he needed a new engine. It was a bit of a shame as the original engine was in excellent shape until then.

Any suspension mods and did you fit the current wheels?

The suspension was standard when I sold it. I did have some Bilstein B6's with Apex spings on there at one stage, but the springs were utter rubbish so they came off.

A little update on this.
The guy I bought it off was a lying [censored]! Teach me to buy a car on ebay unseen.
I suppose I should know better at my age.

The P.O. had only had it 2 weeks and the only time he drove it was on the journey home.
He said the boot was dry and it was p*ss wet (no rust thankfully)
He said it drove well with no bangs or engine issues and it doesn't.

It needs the clonking and groaning sorting out on the front suspension asap but thankfully after repairing the bonnet cable,
I managed to get a new set of plugs in it and it now runs well and boosts to 1.2 bar with no stuttering.

It constantly blows the fuse for the left rear light so I have a short somewhere
and the drivers outer bolster frame has gone so it will be needing a new seat too.

The bodywork isn't too bad thankfully but he neglected to mention a couple of points which was annoying to say the least!

Still it was cheap for a reason and its now going to get some love as it will be my everyday car.
