I have a stage 3 hybrid fitted to my 20vT from CR Turbos. Can I run a decat with that turbo as I know the OEM turbos blow seals as soon as you decat them?

Also the car has a Blueflame system on it but, personally, I'm not keen on the sound. My past 20vT had a custom system on it and created the most incredible raspy screaming air sound at full throttle and I really want that back. Any ideas how I could have the system customised to generate this or will I have to change system fully?

The raspy screaming air sound normally comes from the K&N 57i on the intake, not the exhaust.
Either that or your last car had a pack and a half a day habit.

I think the 'raspy' noise is produced due to a restriction in the exhaust, similar to the standard exhaust. Was it a 2.25" system?

Yes you can mate, I had the exact same turbo on mine, barbz has them rebuilt using staggered seals, meaning they dont piss oil out and smoke when de-cat'd like the standard units do.

I think my previous system was 2.5" with a ragazzon rear box and no silencers/cats. It purred lovely driving around then went bananas on boost and sounded like the Euro Fighter on afterburners! Not only that, the car still produced over 330bhp on the dyno so it wasn't restrictive...well I didn't think so

That coupe in the video has a Supersprint exhaust + decat (it's mine )

Yes, the mild steel supersprint exhaust always did sound better than any of the stainless steel jobs.
