I used to run 225/35/18 with no issues at all all round then I went to 225/40/18 for a bit more sidewall flex and comfort which worked a treat. Just rubbed ever so slightly on full lock.

How do you guys get on with your speedo readings? Mines spot on.

The 225/35 I had were Falkens and they were rock hard! The 225/40 were Continental sport contact 5 and they were way more soft/comfortable.

If it was Falkens like for like 225/35/ - 225/40 who knows?

But overall I was alot happier with the ride.

Hows your car? I saw it at Barbz ages ago (Sprinty with private plate) make some good power?

Run 235/35/18 eagle f1's on rear but with very low offset alloy which rub going over speed bumps.

Fronts are now 215/30/18 as the 225/35s where catching the side skirt on full lock. This was down to the hub adapters bringing the wheels out more.
All on standard springs!! frown

car is great thanks --- still to be fully mapped to get the most out of it though` but it`s already a handfull above 3300 revs -midrange and right up to(and over wink ) 7000 rpm it`s immense laugh ,
I have a 360 and I`m sure the coupe would destroy it, once on boost ( not quite so stable though` wink )

I`m driving it a bit over the winter to make sure all ok ( It was laid up for over 5 years)but i reckon it will be over (or close to) 400 bhp once mapped.
Thats a spring project along with a full respray.

And I currently have falkens on mine too !!,barbz reckons thats the cause of mine being such a handfull on full boost ( he doesn`t rate them )..and i`m sure he mentioned you had conti 5`s on yours and thought they would be brill on mine.......so I better try harder to wear out the Falkens

and hard is an understatement on the ride,i run billies on (new) standard springs with fully welded subframe ..........i`m an old bugger so couldn`t live with eibachs and 18" wheels though........... frown

( in saying that my wife has a 500 Abarth.....with 17" wheels....the worst riding car in the world !!!! shocked )

apologies to Knight7660 for hi jacking your thread
