If its had a VIC then its Cat C. Why oh why did he go through the insurance if that's all it was?! Maybe he wanted the cash!

It certainly reads like a Cat C in which case, especially with that mileage it seems over priced to me. With an insurance company, however, it is not surprising it ended up as a Cat C, the time off the road whilst they found the required parts which are possibly unobtainable new (are bumpers and bootlids available from Fiat?) would make a hire car expensive and the actual repair costs pretty high too. Once a claim is made, there isn't much which can be done about it and if a third party was at fault why would you not? Payout less repair costs using second hand parts probably led to a profit which covers the difference between this and a non-damaged car.

This was on eBay a while ago, it went to £1900 but reserve was much higher. I went to look at it and spent a long time going over the paperwork, made a lot of notes and thought long and hard about buying it. PM me if interested.

Good luck with the sale Craig

My old car, owned by Rog before me so been well looked after and pampered, would be an excellent buy!

Best of luck Craig! thumb

Nice red one
I know this is a re-post, just bringing this to a wider audience wink
You might need your reading glasses though, or a ruler! Very difficult to chew through the un-paragraphed and un-punctuated text wink

I know this car. This was bought from a garage in Cambridge a couple of years ago by DavidLR as I went to view with him. He paid 3k for it. I drove back from Cambridge to sheffield and it was a very solid drive. Until we got back and all the electrics went on it. Dave sorted this out I believe due to some ex owner dodgy wiring.
If I remember though this guy who bought from Dave was a bit awkward with him.
Check his technical issues out to see what problems he's had.
Thanks

Cheap one wink
But be warned, I'd like to see this thoroughly inspected prior to purchase.

Bargain. Wish I had a spare grand! The seats and exhaust must be worth at least half of the asking price.
