Just fitted my new Momo Race steering wheel, very happy with it. It is a fraction smaller, about 1/10th of the weight and finally i can now find the horn when i need it!

Yes, although i do usually like my hooters in pairs, one in the middle is easier to find when driving hehe

I used to have one of those fitted to an old MX-5 I had many years ago. Very comfortable wheel to use. Looks great in the coupe.

Often thought about doing this, do you now have to put up with the air bag light?

Ebay! there was quite a few of them on there, prices from £40 to £100 and then there is the boss on top of that, that was £50 from Rtec.

Hopefully not, i have put a resistor on the plug to the clock spring, airbag light is now on but i should be able to get it reset.

Quick question.....or two;

Which BOSS kit did you use? And what value resistor? Did the light stay off after a reset? Cheers.

I asked about steering wheels and had people questioning why on earth I would want too and the usual mundane forum talk about MOT testing and legality. You start one and bam, everyone wants one. rolleyes

hehe

Any chance I could see a pic from the side so I can see how the boss kit relates to the steering column. I'd like to see how it looks if possible.

I used the momo boss kit, from Rtec
As for the resistor, can't remember the value but i got it from ebay, i just searched 'airbag resistor'. The light stayed off until my battery went dead then it popped back up again.

If you could get one from dead on side, that would be really good thanks.

Ach My MOMO wheel used to be in my old Berlingo works van.....every mile was a pleasure with that wheel on it! haha! For the last 2-3 years, the MOMO has been a decorative feature on my livingroom wall..........perhaps the Coupe will bring that to an end.

Cheers for the Momo link Jame5

Just stays illuminated, without disconnecting the battery it should stay off once reset.

You need a 2.2ohm resistor. I've got a few somewhere. PM me if you want one.
