It is, if you feed it fresh oil when it needs it and warm it up fully before doing anything. Testament to this is the fact it will take 600 bhp with what are actually just 'optimisations' rather than re-engineering big chunks of engine.

Any 2-litre with 340hp, 240000km's, 40-50 trackdays, unrepaired, healthy as a whistle, must be pretty bullet proof.
