I loved this car ever since it was a concept. For me there was no affordable car that could move me away from the coupe .... this will be it. The alfa will be around the £40k mark from what ive read elsewhere. They want to eat at the BMW Z4 / Porsche / Elise etc market as you say. Give it 3 years and this car will be very affordable if following the usual appreciation of Alfas. For me its defiantly a good contender for the coupe! Better start saving

It looks nice, but there's something a bit awkward about the angle of the windscreen and the height of the roof in the first picture. I prefer the Alfa Spyder concept: But I'd happily have both

Same here Boosted.... Its nice - Been on t'web for a while now in supposed pre-prod form (even on Need for Speed on the xbox!). If I'm honest I'm a little disappointed with it. Looks too Elise/Exige'ish for me - no bad thing but I wanted more innovation in the aesthetics......... I'm sure I'll eat my words when I see one in the flesh.

The Alfa 4C is expected to cost less than £50,000, sitting it directly in Cayman territory. Nice but............... if I had the money I'd be heading to the Porker garage and not the Alfa one.

Nice looking (like most Alfas) but the pricing will be key. Lots of technology and no go = a real flop. What is the target audience? If a 1.7l Alfa with 240 ponies comes on to the market at over £30K you will be able to pick up "new" 4Cs in 18 months time for half the money..... I don't think Porsche will be quaking in their boots.
