PIU front bumper looks great in sprint blue ..only Mark has LE Side Skirts.. I personally prefer Zender skirts with the PIU front..

I have LE side skirts, so Mark's car ideal for me to see whether I should order the PIU front bumper too

Bumper has arrived with exhaust and it's not good news, looks like it was damaged in transit, with a chunk out of gel coat, the back box also seems squiffy.

Do I regret spending over £500? Then to be fair, yes I do.
I feel gutted, garage fitting the backbox said "it's not good quality" and were shocked that it cost £150+

I have reported it to Mariusz and looks like I will have to try and claim from either Parcelforce or my credit card/Paypal.

If its damaged why have you fitted it?
Was there any damage to the packing etc. ? To reject it?
It's crap when something turns up damaged.

A big warning to anyone would have to be, if in ANY doubt then send it back. I wish I had.

Oh well, whats done is done, looks like Section 75 claim against Visa if Parcelforce/GLS/AutoDS deny liability.

My advice is CHECK any parcels and no matter how excited, if there is any damage to packaging just reject it.

I recieved a box of quite clearly, as it was glass a box of broken glass before I opened it! I rejected it.
I understand that your package may look ok and then you opened it you find it damaged. That's the time to make the claim etc. Not fit it or admit to fitting it! The fitter could of hit it on something.
I think you made a mistake buying the back box system.
I wondered why Jame5 was asking around about exhausts and there you go. It's steel?

I also bought a 30 inch Apple Monitor, the box on that had been damaged in transit but monitor itself was fine. Yes I admit, in my excitement I made a mistake with accepting bumper. I won't do that again and that is why I am warning others. BUT for £500, should I expect the packaging to be more robust?

The fitter didn't hit it, the box and bumper damage corresponds. As I said, my bad.

Exhaust is not stainless steel. I bought it as I thought it looked wicked with the bumper, but now I think I should have just kept standard bumper and had a twin pipe system made up in Stainless steel.

I feel your pain. I knew by rejecting my parcel it was going to time and grief. And it has.
But,
I'm sure AutoDS will make good!

Well I have discussed it with Mariusz and have suggested we go halves towards the cost of sorting out repair/respray of bumper and sorting out exhaust, hopefully we will make progress and can put this episode behind us.

It's tough sending things across the world in one piece. It can be damaged on your doorstep after travelling half way round the world. Down to whose handling it and they might not view their job as a vocation.

As I told you Mick.. Shipping is insured, but you have to inspect the package at time of delivery, this is the duty of the recipient - why do I have to pay for your negligence ? It's not fair, because I paid for painting, I paid for insurance and now you require the next payment from me. It's not fair. This is very big hole mate, so why you did not check the bumper ? As you told - you made a mistake with accepting bumper. I can't do the claim without protocol from your courier. I'm very sorry..

2 layers of bubble wrap + five-layer carton this really verry solid package.. but for 1/1000 orders this is not enought..

If you have any problem with the exhaust system fitting, you can send me back it with no problem.. I'll send you secound one or I'll send you money back..

Mariusz, there is no "Protocol from Courier" everything is electronic. No paperwork is left when package is delivered. I do wish I had just rejected the package, but did not see the hole at the time, it's difficult with a package that size to inspect every part of it. Although, I wish I had, as it would have been sent straight back had I known the trouble it would cause.

I think the true value of a company is how it treats it's customers not when everything goes well, but when problems arise.

I have suggested to you in an email that we go 50/50 with cost of repairs to the Bumper. Or perhaps you can supply a new bumper?

The exhaust I am not sure about, I need to consider my options, balancing the cost of having a stainless steel performance system made for it, with the option of putting right the problems with the hanger being wrong and the bent tailpipe. I will advise you after mid-day,

I asked that you pay a total of £100 to get defect on bumper repaired and re-sprayed. Your own website quotes £99 to spray it.
I will pay the other £140 towards respraying and making exhaust right.

I think that's fair. I am trying to avoid any conflict. You can claim back from courier.

I don't think a public forum is the right place to discuss this. I have tried to negotiate a fair way of resolving this issue.
But I think expecting me to bear the full cost is unfair.

I think, this is very good place, I want to be fair..

This is very good lesson for our friends on here, very important:
All deliveries of goods are insured and must be inspected at time of delivery and the couriers formalities must be clearly marked as damaged or goods missing - this is the duty of the recipient.


Your first e-mail: "approximately £50 for paint repair", so I have to pay 25 GBP for bumper repair ? No problem..

But I can't pay you additional 150 GBP for the exhaust fitting.. You paid for them only 148 GBP mate.. I hope you can understand it..
