Test drove a stunning LE kitted 20t with nothing but a cat back adn green cotton. on the test drive it was fast it scared it scaed the shit out of me, and ive had evos, supras, 370z(which ws just written off..thanks old lady) being that theyre so similar to the Rover coupe which ive loved several times over the years i got it. However, on the way it started playing up like boost surging or missing /coughing. And the brakes judder like made :-( Just my bloody luck. Still ive fixed worse so hopefully with your lot's MIGHTY help. well get through it. I work at a modified car company so if you want anything near cost let me know.

welcome and good luck.... I have 3 of them, and wouldn't dream of maintaining them myself. Mind you, I am a mechanical numpty and these ladies are fiendishly difficult to keep at 100%.

It sounds as if you may have a fuelling problem and/or a boost leak. If it was my car I would let one of our specialists have a look at her; it won't cost the earth and will be very instructive. I live in Kent, but take my cars to Midlands Car Servicing in Shepshed (details on the forum). John will sort you out . Other specialists are available!!

Don't be afraid

Provided you have some oil pressure you will be fine. Keep your ears peeled though for odd noises (and check the oil ). Never fear, she will be fine and give you lots of fun...

Ive had a fair few rover coupes aswell and must say the fiat coupe is alot better and you can get good power out of a standard block unlike the rover T-16 lol
