So what your plans for the coupe this year?
I think as mine is mainly a spa car now.. Last year I did around 4k miles.
My list is
Finally repair my brake wobble. New front brake pads- carbon Lorraine etc if my pagid greys are all spent. New aux belts Oil and filter before spa. Possibly if I get chance and funds a flea map. Get car detailed at some point as I have scratches in my bonnet. Fit race seat and harness. Lose weight to fit in race seat lol
All before spa(june)
Quite a small list really.

Re ferb wheels.(filler and paint) Sort out injector light. Paint work touch up. Bit more tuning if I have the brass. Central locking to sort out. HID fog lights. Not in that order. This year I have already changed plugs, rocker gasket and cleaned maf. I'm sure the list will grow as the year progresses.

Cheers coupedummy. Nearly as pretty as yours. She will be looking even more like yours after the wheels are done. They are going inky black. So not the same but close.
Yeah she will be just about how I want her when all is done. Wanting a good spread of torque and figures in the region of 360bhp and 300 torques. although that might have to wait.
So you are turning yours into a track car more or less.

Mine is slightly rough around the edges.. pictures are slightly more forgiving.
Well I have driven the coupe for the first time in 12 weeks. In reality I should get rid as have a company vehicle.
But spa italia really does it for me every year so not full track but mine is quite setup as it is for a few hot laps.
Hope you guys have deep pockets lol The drift vehicle you mean. Never seen a coupe go sideways so much. I'm not attending spa this year in mine as need to get house sorted. Usually I start saving around November time,so its nice not worrying about getting it ready.

Hmm: Sort handbrake out once and for all. Clutch change usual service items new brake lines throghout. new icv new boost and vac hoses Trip to Bristol if the wife permits and a few trips to MCS as I don't think I can stand the pain of some of the above!
Probably in that order
Obviously I've started the year well with new alt, battery wishbones, drop links and front pads....

Really. The temptation of goading Lambos into submission?
That was year one John, my driving is alittle more civilised now. Surely proccy or paul will bring you over.. I remember the mayhem the first year forgetting my passport along the way

All this talk of spa really makes me wish I could go. Think that will be on next years list. (Hopefully).

After several years of track action with the 20vt needing little more than regular service items and a few tankers of fuel, before this years track fun starts a little more expense is necessary: New oil cooler and pipes All belts New track tyres Sort boost leak Full fluids change and maybe a proper powdercoat job in some shocking colours for one set of track wheels At least a purple drinking vouchers worth of expense. But, Spa and many more track days will soon make it all worthwhile

The following may or may not be undertaken this year, dependent on having time, enthusiasm, a salary to pay for it, etc.....
New clutch (not by me) Diagnose and deal with oil burning (also not by me) Fit spare polished plenum Fit silicone CHOD Strip front to deal with any corrosion Fit LE lips and skirts Fix sunroof Refurb a fit spare centre console Fit refurbished Brembo callipers
I'm sure there are other things I've forgotten and I'm certain more will crop up during the course of the year!

Get the 16v recomissioned and back in circulation....just the mechanicals this year which means:
Full exhaust and all hangers 4 new tyres wheel refurb all belts / tensioners ect New Battery full service and all fluid change New brake hoses Cooling system flush Handbrake cables Wiper blades Hid's
Just before she was laid up I'd fitted new lower arms nd drop links, rear wheel bearings, brake discs/ pads, thermostat, most of the engine sensors so hopefully they will still be ok
she won't be pretty as my granddaughters hve attacked both sides with bikes/scooters and anything else they could drag down the sides over the past couple of years......but she is still very solid with only a little bubbling on the inner lip of the osr wheel arch

All belts due to be changed. Respray rear bumper. Front LE lips and respray front bumper. Refurb front wings. Underseal. Recondition air-con system. 3" downpipe. Walboro 255 pump.
Buy a Mitsu Legnum to use as a daily driver so Coupe can become a weekend car again!

Me thinks you need a expert builder that needs work done on his coupe I think the general chat section will be flooded with DIY disaster posts asking for help. I'm currently selling my remaining car collection to help fund it . Would work out cheaper for me to shut the workshop for a few months and do it myself than to pay people I don't know. Also means coupe will not have a penny spent on it this year.
