Hi Guys, Thought I would share with you some pictures of my Coupe out in the snow last week. Although not the best images (captured using my fruit-telephone!) She made it all the way to the highest point of the North Yorkshire Moors with no problems, passing stranded Subaru's etc - a decent set of winter tires makes all the difference! An enjoyable pint of coke was had at the Blakey Ridge pub too Anyone else willing to share pictures of Coupes in the recent cold weather?

Coupes are good in the snow. I'm still waiting for some this winter.

^ too true, we seem to be slow catching on concerning winter tyres and if more people had them it would make for safer, less congested roads in the winter. I was driving home on the A303 on Friday night and although it was plus 10 degrees, people were still driving like it was minus 10, doing 40mph on single and dual carriageways. This led to frustrated drivers making dangerous overtaking manouvers at 80mph in the dark/rain, it was like everyone had gone bonkers!
Horsing around's a serious business.

For a performance car our Coupes are very good in ice and snow. The narrower the tyres are the better - my stage 3 Scottie (on 205s) is much better than my VT6 on 225s. The best tyres are the space-savers!!

The narrower the tyres are the better In snow, yes, but for the rest of the time, you need a tyre that can cope with normal use, hence don't go below the minimum tyre size suitable for the car in question.

i've never had issues driving in the snow. A few years ago I drove all the way back from bluewater shopping centre to canterbury and was the only car on the motorway due to the snowy conditions! snow driving is all about forward planning
