Brooklands Museum

Developed over the last 27 years, the Italian Car Day has become established as the UK’s premier event for owners and admirers of Italian cars. Brooklands Museum is once again the venue, this historic location providing visitors with the opportunity to see and hear selected cars being demonstrated on the demanding hillclimb and the circuit at the adjacent Mercedes-Benz World.

Visitors arriving in any Italian car, be it a Fiat or a Ferrari, will have the opportunity to park in the areas set aside for the appropriate marques, car clubs and register displays.

Sunday July 7th
Summertime Classics
Stanford Hall

A new event for classic cars and motorcycles of all marques and nationalities. Centrally located in Leicestershire, Stanford Hall offers easy access from the M1 and A1 motorways. This superb stately home is surrounded by acres of excellent parkland, ideal for extensive vehicle displays.

The event incorporates the long standing Auto Italia Concours which forms a centrepiece of exotic, classic and historic Italian cars from all eras.

Saturday July 27th
Supercar Sunday
Brooklands Museum

Following a successful first edition in 2012, this exciting event will be repeated at Brooklands for 2013. This is a rare opportunity for the public to be get close to exclusive motor cars and also see them in action. At most venues, exotic cars are fenced off in secure enclosures but at Brooklands, with its friendly atmosphere, the visitor can inspect the cars at close quarters.

The event is supported by extensive displays form the appropriate car clubs including Ferrari, Maserati, Lamborghini and Alfa Romeo.

Historic Brooklands has easy access via London’s arterial motorways and is conveniently located just within the orbital M25. It has excellent aviation and motoring exhibitions and is served by a choice of quality catering facilities.

Sunday October 13
Autumn Motorsport Festival
Brooklands Museum

A repeat of last year’s successful event developed over the last two years. Competition cars from all ages will be put through their paces on the adjacent Mercedes-Benz World test track. Selected cars will also run up the demanding Brooklands test hill.

Visitors can expect to see a wide variety of competition cars including
Formula 1, F5000, GTs, Touring cars, Group B rally cars and historic cars like the record breaking 1933 Napier Railton – holder of the outright lap record at Brooklands.

In 2012 the event proved to be popular with car clubs that put on complementary displays for members and also took part in the Test Hill runs.

This is the only venue in the UK where visitors can get really close to competition cars in action.

Competition car owners and club organisers are invited to apply to the organisers for entry details.
