We often have new (and existing!) users who ask how to post a picture of their car on the forum. We now offer 2 options for you to do this. 1) Post directly from your phone, tablet or computer.2) Post using a 3rd party software as detailed below. Here is a detailed how to guide for this whether you use Photobucket or Flickr. Here is how to upload photos using Photobucket1) You can upload photos directly from your phone to Photobucket via their app or from your laptop as shown below in 2 & 3 2) Upload your photo to your account via the cloud icon in upper right hand corner 3) Drag your photos into the web browser then click 'upload photo' and 'upload'. The select the 'direct link'. 4) Back to FCCUK and click your img pop icon, the little blue shaded square above the text box. 5) Paste your direct link into the imgpop Finito! Here is how to upload photos using Flickr1) You can upload photos directly from your phone to Flickr via their app, or from your laptop as shown below in 2 & 3 2) Upload your photo to your account via the cloud icon in upper right hand corner 3) Drag your photos into the web browser then click 'upload photo' and 'upload'. Then select the BBC code link. 4) Back to FCCUK and click your img pop icon, the little blue shaded square above the text box. 5) Paste your direct link into the imgpop 6) You need to edit the link as it comes in too long you need the link that starts https: and ends .jpg (or whatever format your photo is) I've highlighted the sections you need to delete: This is what you should be left with: Finito!

Great thread. Especially now the cars are thought of as classics, i think we'll be getting more ..err 'Wiser' aged guys, who werent raised on a diet of Super Mario, Youporn and myface.
Maybe there should be a gallery, unless we have one which i missed. I know there a projects section, but if youve bought a nice minter and just keep it clean perhaps one wouldnt consider it a project and thus not post a pic in projects?

Have read above. There doesn't seem to be a way of posting pics from my iPhone or iPad photos directly. Am I correct? Thanks for replies. As it stands that is correct, we need to use a 3rd party program like Photobucket or Flickr.

I'm using 'tinyphoto' now which does allow third party use unlike 'photobucket' so can I embed a full size (or an appropriate sized) photo or do I still need to use the 'imgpop'? If so, how? If not, how come when I use the imgpop I don't see a thumbnail, only a "Click here to enlarge" message box? Thanks
Andrew

You need to use this section of what you paste from tiny photo: http://i65.tinypic.com/4lhhjt.jpgAnd put [imgpop] at the start And [/imgpop] at the other end. Then you get this:

Visually It’s a Tipo 916 Spider but mechanically it’ll be a coupe 20vt running gear in place of the 2.0 TS unit .

Can I upload images straight from my phone ? I don’t have flickery or photobuckety thingy While I respect the forum’s admin stand on not providing an image uploading feature from a mobile device, it’s worth considering going forward, as it’s such a convenient app to post pics as and when in this digital age. Cheers.
