hi all first post, well after owning my evo for 3 years it was time for a change, done the jap thing skyline, sti, so was looking for some thing diff thought about alfa gtv v6 then stumbled upon this kitted metalic red 20vt 1998 66k full hist and v good con so i bought it lol. first impresion, interior looks good neat n compact nice leather etc. nice sound from the supersprint and a fair roar from air intake even tho thats standard. few questions what is standard boost? what boost can you run on ecu, is there a fuel/boost cut, iv got a de cat pipe and kn induction to fit. its been lowered but the wheels need to go, spose thats enough questions for a first post il rack ya brains later.

Welcome and peeps usually go from Coupe to Evo lol

Loads of info in the tuning thread, but to answer your Qs standard boost is 1bar (limited to 0.5 in 1st / 2nd) and 1.2 - 1.3 is concidered 'safe' within reason.

Get the health of your car checked out, but if it is ok contact GrahamL for his 'gtec' chip. This will up the fueling and boost and also remove the boost limt.
