Riding my bike on Saturday afternoon, I very nearly crashed.

At Asselby (between Howden and Selby) the Vulcan flew over. It was quite low, and flying pretty slowly, but I was too slow to get my Phone out for pictures. I've just looked it up - It was on its way back from RAF Leuchars to Doncaster.

What a magnificent bird it is, and it looked fabulous.

Gutted I wasn't around to see it.

It was parked up at RAF Brize norton a couple of years back. I had the privilege to see it flying on a couple of occasions then.
