anyone any good?

i need to reduce the number of spam registrations and postings... ive introduced some anti spam measures and now im beginning to think that some of the posts are being created manually (registration custom fields being filled in, drop down options being selected, etc).

anyone help?

yeah we've got that:

recapcha
antispam Q&A
drop down asking for an answer from a range of numbers
drop down asking if the user is a spambot, default = yes

and a couple of required custom fields

most of the ip addresses link back to india.

i really need someone who is a dab hand at phpBB, we've updated to v3.0.11 but that made no difference.

phpBB isn't exactly known for its security measures. Version 2 they were updating it 10 times a month until they realised you could just go directly to the form posting page without actually passing by all the stuff they added. Or something like that. It was a stupid mistake. Like putting 20 locks on the door on a house with just two walls. I gave up on the thing. If your forum is attacked, there's not that much you can do.
