I once built a Westie, it had a 1992(ish) rs2000 motor on twin Weber 48's. It was so custom that a mate of mine had to wire us out an inlet manifold and we ended up with the v8 bonnet as the RS lump was a serious size. On the 48's it was rr'd at 198 horse which isn't bad to say with the Ford ecu and cat, injection it only had 150!
I reckon that Cosworth one has too much power to be driveable. I guy was telling me about the R400 and R500 Caterhams he'd driven. The R400 is great but in the R500 as soon as you press the loud pedal you're just a spectator.
If I had the money I'd consider that Megablade, but it would need a respray in yellow

He must be a big girl then An R500 would be just about perfect based on what I've experienced (as a track car). Any of these cars are pointless on the road. I once discussed this with a guy who had a kit car with 500bhp/ton. Lovely car, he said. His 1,100 bhp/ton kit car he said, now that is pointless
