Hi guys. As per title, would rear springs for the Marea fit the coupe?

Eibach part number F3008002

From memory the Marea rear end is the same as the coupe so the springs should be the same.

I looked at your ePER part nuber but it didn't match up.

Thanks Joe. I have a friend who has the rear Marea Eibachs lying around and since I only need rear springs, I thought I'd give it a shot.

Tried researching the part number too but to no avail.

I reckon the only issue would be spring rate? I'd imagine the Marea back end to be heavier than the Coupe so I'd be running a stiffer rear?

It's worth a try and I don't think it'll do any harm with the eibachs, if the arse sits heavy you'll know it's not right wink

I've had a couple and they should fit. It's the spring rate / free length that will change. I can tell you that the damper free length for the marea 20v saloon is ever so slightly longer than that of the coupé.

I think it's worth a try if it's not going to cost you much. I think you may find it too stiff or that the rear end sits too high.

Had them fitted. It fits perfectly. Feels better too. But height-wise, it's almost the same as stock springs. Maybe needs a couple of days to settle in. It was worth the shot.
