Right then, after much help from some great people on here, me and my partner have decided to explore some new grounds and go to the far east. Malaysia to be precise.

I think it was Kelv who recommended Pangkor Laut Resort which we are absolutely sold on, that would be for our last week so that we can really chill, reCOUPErate and refresh.

So, thats under control, but the week before that we are slightly undecided on, maybe 3-4 nights in Kuala Lumpur and then we dont know where for the next 3-4 nights.

Would like to do Singapore, but thats looking difficult and much more expensive. Maybe thinking somewhere within 2 hours of Kuala Lumpur if anybody has any ideas?

Ideally it would be fly to Singapore for 3-4 days then travel to Kuala Lumpur for 3-4 days, then chill for a week in Pangkor Laut, so its all on the way, but then there would be a huge travel from Pangkor Laut back to Singapore to get home again to London GWK/HTR. Which would ruin things abit.
Tried looking at one way tickets, but too expensive.

I have a pal out there on a trekking holiday at the mo. I will ask him. He knows the area well.
Do you want to do some river/jungle/trekking etc ? Historic buildings/temple's ?

If historic is your thing, Malacca is a 2-hour drive from KL.

You need three weeks really, wspecially if you want to spend soem time chilling and sunbathing. I'd pass on the sunworshipping bit (can do that anywhere) in favour of more adventure smile
