What sort of performance would you expect from a import mr2 gt turbo.
I roughly know the spec may not all be dead accurate.
Its got 3" straight through decatted exhaust
induction kit
forge dv
gizmo set 1.2 low 1.4bar high i think he is pushing a ct26 but i may of remembered wrong as two turbo's were mentioned.
And it either has a chip or remap.
What would you expect from it. he reckons around 300-330bhp ?

Well lets hope it is quite a bit quicker than a pressumably standard mr2 turbo as they aren't all that from my experience of driving around them!

362bhp of warble

Little Dan ownes an import Mk2 and imo it's quick but runs out of puff on a standard turbo, it's fun but not my cup of tea.

I would also expect to be running a FCD with that setup otherwise your going to run in to trouble.
As I recall mapping wise there doesn't seem to be a lot on the scene for the mr2, who are you getting to do it?

The FCD (fuel cut defender) is fitted to the import models to stop people winding the boost higher then 1.1 bar, it's factory fit.

If you try and push it more the ecu will just keep cutting the fuel.

The turbo has a twin entry so I think this is where the twin part is coming from but it's a single turbo car.
