Well as of yesterday I have now been allocated the joyous position being off work for 6 weeks with my left hand trussed up in about 2kgs of bandage All because I decided to cut through the tendons in my ring and little finger instead of the beef joint that was going to provide a tasty filler for an intended late night snack . It wasn't very painful but now that i've had my surgery and it's all stitched up and immobile,it's giving me no end of grief...Is this normal? I had plans to remove/refurb my headlights and refit with angel eyes and HID's as well as remove/refurb the 'B' pillars with my original 8 days off (continental shifts).Well, obviously thats not going to happen now... So does anyone have any suggestions as to how to keep myself entertained/busy? ****Well following last Thursday's surgery to re-attach my tendons and artery,I went to the 'dressing clinic' today to have the cast and bandages removed and replaced with a thermoplastic splint and began my physio...So whilst it was all exposed I thought I'd take a piccy for those of us that have a morbid curiosity **** Before surgery After surgery

To a speedy recovery Thanks! I'll get over it,just have to save it for another day. I've been given 'hospital' strength Paracetomol and Diclofenac...They seem to be working. As per the puns people......bring them on!I can hack it!

Plenty left although my friend's dog got my 'slice' , bit worried about going near it now it has a taste for my blood. Get this...I've got to go to 'dressing clinic' for some advice on the 10th.I thought dressings were for salads and not sandwiches?

Is that because I don't own any club branded attire? Well that and the fact that the dress you were wearing at the time of the incident was sooo 1970's! Anyway, that's the whole point of owning a woman, she should be making the snacks! <runs for cover before Theresa sees that comment >

Ah, so that's why you're still cooking my dinner and tea for me
