I found a nice little article in one of my old "Car" mags from Aug 1995, the Editor Gavin Green started the magazine off with these words....
"For us Brits the wait for the Fiat Coupe, as it is to be called here, has been a long one. But, having experienced one on the best and most demanding roads that this island can serve up, we rate it as one of the seminal cars of the 90's. People will remember, and talk about, this two door Fiat for years to come. It is, quite simply, the most desirable new car you can buy in Britain today.
driving love biglaugh

The *real* prize in Car magazine is the tiny picture a couple of years earlier... yellow, it was. I wanted my car from seeing that picture.

I had ordered the 16 before the magazine above was printed...

Barnacle is your 16v one of the earliest Coops to be registered in the UK?

Furthermore, are you the only 'Coop owner from new' to be still in the fold?

Registered in October 95. There are a few around older, mostly dealer cars on M plates.

I don't know of any one-owners as old, though that doesn't mean there aren't any...

Snap - well almost. My heart was set from (I guess) the same photo that was in Fast Lane in '93.
