I guess this will come under handling? If not, please move. smile

My MOT and MM suggested my front passenger wishbone is wearing and I think it's finally started to give up.
There's an awful lot of speed bumps where I live and just lately the car seems to just crash all over them and feels awful. Now I've just put away in the garage and when you bounce the car up and down on the passenger side there's a rather loud creaking! shocked

Any ideas? Is it now mullered? frown am I going to have to dig deep AGAIN?!

Replace the wishbones in pairs, and enjoy the improvement in handling. You may as well do the ARB drop links while you're there as they wear quickly and are cheap to replace.

The creaking could be a number of things. If you park the car and pull out on full lock does it creak? If so it's the top mount bearings which are gone.

A full refresh (wishbones, track rod ends, ARB drop links, top mounts & bearings) is a fair bit if you buy all Fiat parts and pay for someone to do it. You can save if you are able to fit the parts yourself.

Having been through 2 sets of pattern wishbones I'd advise to buy Fiat items. The pattern parts are rubbish. It's a false economy, buy cheap buy twice, as I did!
