Whats wrong with the 20vt engine?? Spend abit of money on that for more bhp and make it awd??? Will probably be lighter than a v6 over the front.
I wouldn't go through the hassle of making a different engine fit, it doesn't make sence.

The increased capacity + two turbos is going to be far more responsive running BIG power than a 2l 20vt engine....weight distribution will be an issue, but I'm sure that the car will go like stink.

I love Japanese engines. Very reliable and they can take a lot of stick. The only time I have had other than Jap or Audi in the last 15 years is when I have had a Coupe. Agree with the weight issue though. Will be great on a straight but will be fun going round corners at any speed.

Look at the rest of the set up, that'll handle quite nicely thank you........
Lovely and (Unless they've been silly with boost) it'll be stronger than a regular coupe.

Yep - but you wont get either engine into a coupe, as they are too long.

I've seen this one before, but it looks as though it still had the Fiat engine in then. 4WD Coupe

silly question but what about a celics gt4 setup the rear diff has its own cradle its 4 bolts to hold it to the body 8 bolt cv joints front and rear its a very simple setup even the gear change is cable and the clutch is hydro and the scope for tuning is huge..... a reliable 500 bhp is capable Interesting idea! But this would be a wrong marriage right from the being!

Nice to see someone doing something a bit different! Love the monstrous brakes!
Think I'll be keeping my little 8v lump for now though...

some serious time effort and dough put into that.... Amazing!! Indeed. But why go to all that expense of making it uber fast, then weigh it down with heavy amplifiers? That rear bumper is awful as well

Lots of weight at the front and one of those exhausts looks very close to the prop but bloody hell! That'll eat the road, tyres and anything else it sees!
