Does anyone have access to the EPER parts lists. I need to order the Air Con seal kit and would like the part number please.

My AC system seems to always vac down fine and holds pressure, but only for about ten months of the year

I have already fitted another compressor and that didn't fix it so I am going to fit a new Condenser (because it's a little rusty) & Receiver - Drier so want to replace all the seals too.

I am looking to replace seals on the compressor, accumilator & condenser. Not sure what sizes they are though

You could also try putting new schraeder values on the service ports - if they leak they might not show up on a pressure or vacuum testunless the service connectors are taken off.

I got a price a while back for this seal kit and it was very expensive. You can get universal seal kits for much less.

Bob - the air con seal kit I bought from Fiat last year (at quite a price!) contained many seals but few that actually matched up size wise with those on my Plus' air con system so either I ordered the wrong part number or the kit is a dud, so you might want to think about sourcing them from elsewhere according to the exact sizes fitted to your car.

ive got a electronic leak detector , but im out of 134a gas at the moment , does anyone know the 20vt aircon refridgerant capacity.

I thought it was 700g but night be 550g its a little while since I recharged mine!

i went on the search in the faq and its 550 g , just need some gas now

550 isnt enough for the coupe system.
The machine will retain on average 200g in the pipes.
When recovering the pipes after a gas,the common figures are between 150-200g.
So i always gas 800g which puts 500g in the system.

Bob,have you used a tracker dye to see where its leaking from?

I do mine with separate gauges and manual scales. That way you can put gas through them before you open the final sort into the system and then measure the volume of gas going in. 500g is then fine!

sounds like your charging system same as me , purge all your flexible pipe work upto the service valves then put in the weighed ammount into the system to fiats spec 550g ,anyway when i get some gas will let you know how i get on.
