Planning my ICE at the moment... few questions if someone could help me out please?

1. what are the factory-size for the woofer in the front of the Coupe?

2. what's the biggest woofer that can go in the rear factory location without much modding?

3.if fitting components in the rear, is it easy to make a hole in the rear door card, above the factory-woofer position, for the component's tweeter to sit?

4. are the Infinity Kappa components worth the price hike over the Infinity Reference components?

and ...

5. if the power amp has crossovers built in (they do, don't they?), how does it work when you wire it up to components, which have dedicated crossover boxes? (I'm a bit lost here, sorry)!

1. Woffers are all 165mm.
2. 8" or 7x9". (I have 10" subs, which just fit)
3. Yes.
4. You need to listen and make your own mind up. (But I have Kappa Perfect6.1 up front ..)
5. They don't, just low and high pass filters. You must always use the crossovers supplied with component speakers as they're tuned to match the speakers.

Here's an install of Infinity Kappa Perfect6.1 tweeters. The woofers need the front door cards trimming slightly around the speaker apperture.

Here's a rear panel install of some Infinity Reference 10" subs and 165mm coaxials.

hia, heinz, no the infinity range is not worth the money in any way shape or form SQ is pants, [well no frills that is,]there is sooooo much out there that sounds a lot better for the money, shop around and ask[email] people that have heard many component systems rarther than personal choises,try and blag a cheap deal on ebay even,and you can fit anythiung you want in the rear quarters just take your time.i modified a coop last year for a lady and put a 3 way jl audio system in there.although the key to good imaging is sound up front.

I chose infinity speakers and amplifiers because i've experimented in the past and they're my favorite.

I was considering 3 way components in the front, but didn't think it was possible without modifying the door cards...
