yes it is boring driving a diesel but when you get in your other car at the weekend it makes it even better and your not worried about braking it
So very very true. I would get into my Coupe or latterly the GTV, and feel like I'm Schumacher driving a rocket ship after driving a diesel 306 all week (400 miles approx). The effect has been magnified recently after getting an even slower commuter
However, I'm yet to sit down and calculate whether having the 306 saved me that much in comparison to driving the Fiat every day (I only have partial records for 2008 when I really started a significant commute)
If I'm 100% honest however, and I know few people will agree, I don't think I could have ever really relied on the Coupe to cover to 20K miles a year I do now, without me needing to take time from work to get issues fixed. Unfortunately my commute offers no real alternatives, I need a car to get to work, public transport is simply not an option to me unfortunately.
