Pretty pleased with rolling road today making 267.4bhp and 250.9 lb/ft.
Used my usual guy who Ive used for 10+ years with the racecars, so know its pretty accurate.

Standard turbo, Gtec2, standard smic, (for now) decat, 3.8fpr.

Ive welded a boss into the decat so I can stick my wide band lambda sensor into, so will see how it reads. 'Seems' a tad rich which is fine for now.

So, is it worth spending money on a superspool and fmic to get another 25bhp'ish? Ive been reminded that I could mod the Superspool to make 300 ish.

the Tad rich could be due to the 3.8bar FPR

i fitted one with a bit of different set up to yours and i was massivly over fueling.

any way, i would spend the money on the FMIC and the superspool turbo!

after that, take it to Flea!!

You really don't need the 3.8 bar fpr, not even with a superspool and fmic. My Porto had superspool and fmic and ran exactly 300 very easily on a standard 3 bar and a flea map.

Hence you running rich, and I doubt it adds anything to performance either, but those out there more qualified could confirm

Really, I want 300+. My target is 320-340.

Im pleased with the standard run today and the torque is really strong, but Im sure that my standard 13 year old T28 is likely to throw in the towel at some stage, so I may as well be prepared now.

the 3.8bar fpr is not really doing any thing for you mate.
i would take it off..

but get another RR to check the fueling after!
just to be sure!

with a de-cat and that sort of power i would say the turbo will say bye bye soon.

i would get ready to buy a new turbo!
also, random question... what plugs are you using on that?

Next job is to put my wide band lambda sensor in and strap the gauge to the dash for the next trials.

Will a pace FMIC with entry/exit on both sides, support 300+?

tbh mate, i really do not rate the dual exit pace FMIC.

had RALLY bad experiences with them.

i would get one of these!! they work well on a coupe!

the pace fmic with entry/exit same side will not transfure the pressure quick enough mate and your turbo will go, how ever a smic with a chargecooler will work better, if you want to achieve 300+ bhp with good torque then ide say fmic opposite entry/exit like pro alloy or evo 6 and above would be a better long term solution, then pair up your decat with a 3" down pipe and a flea map and ide say you would have a healthy 320/340 bhp that sounds great aswell smile

Superspool, 3" downpipe and a FMIC like, Pro alloy, Turbo Revs or Evo, of course a de-cat and a map should see you in the power range your looking for smile
